What was School Site Manager designed to do?

School Site Manager was originally designed to fix the most common school site problems. Often, a site starts out well but, since it's too difficult to maintain, the information on the site grows outdated. Also, a site might start with a functional, professional design, but when many people with limited skill make changes, the site soon becomes like a crazy quilt of ideas with no coherence. The cure? It takes three things:

  1. Make information easy to enter and update.
  2. Enable the people with the most information and the strongest motivation to enter information.
  3. Control the system with simple approval processes and with automatic design enforcement so the right information appears in the right design form.
